About the position
The laboratory of Dr. Minah Kim in the Department of Pathology and Cell Biology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Scientist position in either neuroscience or neuroimmunology. The research focus will be determined based on the successful candidate’s expertise and interests.

- Interactions between vascular dysfunction, neuroinflammation, and Alzheimer’s disease pathology.
- Mechanistic studies integrating experimental models with human specimens and data.
- Analysis of spatial transcriptomics and RNA-seq datasets to characterize vascular and immune cell states, disease-associated pathways, and cellular interactions in Alzheimer’s disease, integrating these findings with experimental studies.
Preferred background: Neuroscience or neuroimmunology. Experience studying Alzheimer’s disease, neurodegeneration, the blood–brain barrier, or cerebrovascular biology is an advantage.
